Luke15:1-7 "Then all the tax collectors and the sinners drew near to Him to hear Him. 2 And the Pharisees and scribes complained, saying, “This Man receives sinners and eats with them.” 3 So He spoke this parable to them, saying:
“What man of you, having a hundred sheep, if he loses one of them, does not leave the ninety-nine in the wilderness, and go after the one which is lost until he finds it? 5 And when he has found it, he lays it on his shoulders, rejoicing. 6 And when he comes home, he calls together his friends and neighbors, saying to them, ‘Rejoice with me, for I have found my sheep which was lost!’ 7 I say to you that likewise there will be more joy in heaven over one sinner who repents than over ninety-nine just persons who need no repentance.

The gospel is to reveal the father who is hidden in the scriptures as Isaiah45:15 saying "Truly You are God, who hide Yourself, O God of Israel, the Savior!
By using figurative language, Almighty God has kept his wisdom to the people. However, the key to access the kingdom of heaven is knowledge. That mean to have the meaning of things and the understanding of the parabolic language in the scriptures
.
John16:25“These things I have spoken to you in figurative language; but the time is coming when I will no longer speak to you in figurative language, but I will tell you plainly about the Father.
That make us understand that having the explanation of the parables, the riddles, and the allegories are like seeing the father. So let's find out the meaning of the parable of the lost sheep.

In shadow, that mean in Levitical Priesthood, the man who was having hundred sheep is Kish a Benjamite, a mighty man of power. He had a choice and handsome son whose name was Saul. Some of Kish sheep was lost; he decided to send his distinguished son Saul to look for the sheep.
1Samuel9:1-4" There was a man of Benjamin whose name was Kish the son of Abiel, the son of Zeror, the son of Bechorath, the son of Aphiah, a Benjamite, a mighty man of power. 2 And he had a choice and handsome son whose name was Saul. There was not a more handsome person than he among the children of Israel. From his shoulders upward he was taller than any of the people.
Now the donkeys of Kish, Saul’s father, were lost. And Kish said to his son Saul, “Please take one of the servants with you, and arise, go and look for the donkeys.”

In reality, that mean in Royal Priesthood or grace time Kish represents Almighty God, and his son Saul represent the Lord Jesus Christ who came down to look for the lost sheep of Israel. Matthew15:24 " But He answered and said, “I was not sent except to the lost sheep of the house of Israel.”
We wonder how Israel as a sheep of Almighty God was lost? 1Samuel8:4-8 " So all the elders of Israel gathered together and came to Samuel at Ramah. 5 They said to him, “You are old, and your sons do not follow your ways; now appoint a king to lead us, such as all the other nations have.”
But when they said, “Give us a king to lead us,” this displeased Samuel; so he prayed to the Lord. 7 And the Lord told him: “Listen to all that the people are saying to you; it is not you they have rejected, but they have rejected me as their king.  As they have done from the day I brought them up out of Egypt until this day, forsaking me and serving other gods, so they are doing to you.  The request that Israel people made to the prophet Samuel displeased God because Israel is Almighty God portion. Deuteronome32:9" For the Lord’s portion is his people, Jacob his allotted inheritance.
However, According to Deuteronomy16:16 " No one should appear before the Lord empty-handed. To find a way that going to bring them to the lost sheep, Saul went to see the prophet and gave him a quarter of a shekel.  The three-fourths of a shekel was not used and has to be used by someone.
The one who has used it is the Lord Jesus Christ. Luke13:33" Nevertheless, I must journey today, tomorrow, and the day following; for it cannot be that a prophet should perish outside of Jerusalem. In other words, three-fourths of shekel represents Moses times, that means law-time. Luke24:27" And beginning with Moses and all the Prophets, he explained to them what was said in all the Scriptures concerning himself.
Basically, Moses law was also the time of malediction for the people according to Exodus34:7" keeping mercy for thousands, forgiving iniquity and transgression and sin, by no means clearing the guilty, visiting the iniquity of the fathers upon the children and the children’s children to the third and the fourth generation.” As a result, the worked of Saul was a shadow of things to come. Colossians2:17" which are a shadow of things to come, but the substance is of Christ.
As the curse took effect till the fourth generation, the one who shall rescue the sheep has to be from the fourth generation too. According to the prophecy, Jacob's son Judah who is fourth in family hierarchy is the one who comes to rescue the sheep. Therefore, the real Judah is the Lord Jesus Christ.
Deuteronomy33:7

And this he said of Judah:
“Hear, Lord, the voice of Judah,
And bring him to his people;
Let his hands be sufficient for him,
And may You be a help against his enemies.”
The one who find the sheep is the Lord Jesus Christ, while he was looking for the sheep he arrived near to the parcel of ground that Jacob gave to his son Joseph. Being wearied from His journey,  sat thus by the well. We remind that being wearied is just a language because we all knew that our God does not get tired but he became feeble to save us.
Psalm121:4"Behold, He who keeps Israel
Shall neither slumber nor sleep.
So that, being wearied is telling on the path of the sun who left his chamber, and rising from one end of heaven to reached another end. That mean John4:3-4" So he left Judea and went back once more to Galilee. Now he had to go through Samaria. Psalm19:1-6" The heavens declare the glory of God;
And the firmament shows His handiwork.
Day unto day utters speech,
And night unto night reveals knowledge.
There is no speech nor language
Where their voice is not heard.
Their line has gone out through all the earth,
And their words to the end of the world.

In them, He has set a tabernacle for the sun,
Which is like a bridegroom coming out of his chamber,
And rejoices like a strong man to run its race.
Its rising is from one end of heaven,
And its circuit to the other end;
And there is nothing hidden from its heat.

In other words, being wearied means the death of the Lord Jesus to save the sheep. Romans3:23-25" for all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God,  24 being justified freely by His grace through the redemption that is in Christ Jesus,  25 whom God set forth as a propitiation by His blood, through faith, to demonstrate His righteousness, because in His forbearance God had passed over the sins that were previously committed.
Then a woman from Samaria come to draw water. She did not know that she was in front of two wells, that mean Jacob's well which represents Moses commanded that Israel has received as an inheritance and living water well who is Jesus Christ.
The Lord Jesus Christ was about to changed this tradition by offering her the living water. John4:10"Jesus answered and said to her, “If you knew the gift of God, and who it is who says to you, ‘Give Me a drink,’ you would have asked Him, and He would have given you living water.”
Lord Jesus asked for the water, she was surprised by the demand because Jews do not associate with Samaritans.
So what's cause them to not associate anymore?
2Chronicles10:1-19
After, the death of king Solomon, Solomon's son Rehoboam took power and became king in Israel. Unfortunately, there was a scission, the country was divided into two.
Ten tribes from north went with Jeroboam and Jeroboam led them as a king; then brought them worshiping multiples gods.
Two tribes [Juda and Benjamin]kept Rehoboam as a king.
2Chronicles10:17" But Rehoboam reigned over the children of Israel who dwelt in the cities of Judah.

We understood that Samaria people were considered by the Jews as gentiles because of their affiliation with nations people. Joshua23:7"Do not associate with these nations that remain among you; do not invoke the names of their gods or swear by them. You must not serve them or bow down to them.

When Lord Jesus noticed that Samaria woman has found interest to what He had been telling her; Jesus asked her to call her husband. John4:15-17"The woman said to Him, “Sir, give me this water, that I may not thirst, nor come here to draw.”
Jesus said to her, “Go, call your husband, and come here.”
The woman answered and said, “I have no husband.” Jesus said to her, “You have well said, ‘I have no husband,’ 18 for you have had five husbands, and the one whom you now have is not your husband; in that, you spoke truly.”

We remind that Samaritan woman's five husbands represent the five books of Pentateuch or Moses law. And the last one [sixth husband] represent the religious tradition of their ancestor. Matthew15:2" “Why do Your disciples transgress the tradition of the elders? For they do not wash their hands when they eat bread.”
The sixth husbands represent also the old man who commands us; we should get rid of that before to received the seventh husband who is the Lord Jesus Christ.  Romans6:3-6

See Nabal means [fool, or senseless]he has been commanding Abigail but when he died David married Abigail. 1Samuel25:39-42" So when David heard that Nabal was dead, he said," blessed be the Lord, who has pleaded the cause of my reproach from the hand of Nabal, and has kept his servant from evil! For the Lord has returned the wickedness of Nabal on his own head." And David sent and proposed to Abigail, to take her as his wife. When the servants of David has come to Abigail at Carmel, they spoke to her saying," David sent us to you, to ask you to became his wife." Then she arose, bowed her face to the earth, and said," here is your maidservant, a servant to wash the feet of the servants of my Lord." So Abigail rose in haste and rode on a donkey, attended by five of her maidens; and she followed the messengers of David, and became his wife.
In other words, Nabal represents Moses law or the old man that we must get rid of it. Romans7:2-3" For the woman who has a husband is bound by the law to her husband as long as he lives. But if the husband dies, she is released from the law of her husband. 3 So then if, while her husband lives, she marries another man, she will be called an adulteress; but if her husband dies, she is free from that law, so that she is no adulteress, though she has married another man.
The number six is imperfection but Jesus Christ came to give us rest. That is why the number seven is the number of the rest and the perfection of God. Exodus20:11" For in six days the Lord made the heavens and the earth, the sea, and all that is in them, and rested the seventh day. Therefore the Lord blessed the Sabbath day and hallowed it.

We understand that the search of the sheep was to reconciled two people, that mean Samaritans people[gentiles]with Jews.
Afterward, the Lord has to reign as king for all country as it had been into Saul time.
1Samuel9:19-20" Samuel answered Saul and said, “I am the seer. Go up before me to the high place, for you shall eat with me today; and tomorrow I will let you go and will tell you all that is in your heart. 20 But as for your donkeys that were lost three days ago, do not be anxious about them, for they have been found. And on whom is all the desire of Israel? Is it not on you and on all your father’s house?”
2Corinthians5:18-19" Now all things are of God, who has reconciled us to Himself through Jesus Christ, and has given us the ministry of reconciliation, 19 that is, that God was in Christ reconciling the world to Himself, not imputing their trespasses to them, and has committed to us the word of reconciliation.
Ephesians2:11-18" Therefore remember that you, once Gentiles in the flesh—who are called Uncircumcision by what is called the Circumcision made in the flesh by hands— 12 that at that time you were without Christ, being aliens from the commonwealth of Israel and strangers from the covenants of promise, having no hope and without God in the world. 13 But now in Christ Jesus you who once were far off have been brought near by the blood of Christ.  For He Himself is our peace, who has made both one, and has broken down the middle wall of separation, 15 having abolished in His flesh the enmity, that is, the law of commandments contained in ordinances, so as to create in Himself one new man from the two, thus making peace, 16 and that He might reconcile them both to God in one body through the cross, thereby putting to death the enmity. 17 And He came and preached peace to you who were afar off and to those who were near. 18 For through Him we both have access by one Spirit to the Father.

Unfortunately, the ninety-nine sheep that he left in the wilderness represent the tax collectors, the Pharisees, and the scribes.
